Sonic Screwdriver time!

So.... I finally got around to making something that I've been trying to make for a while now. :) Using this tutorial from My Froggy Stuff, I made a mini sonic screwdriver for the 10th doctor doll! :D

Yeah, I know.   He's not wearing his suit.  :P

And it was so easy to make!

All I did was cut down a toothpick to the right size with scissors, wrapped it with strips of paper, painted it with silver acrylic paint (I had to do multiple layers in order for it to fully cover the toothpick and paper) and black acrylic paint, and then glued on a blue rhinestone. And then I sealed it all off with mod podge. :) Simple as that.


I really like the way it came out and now I'm going to try and figure out how to make the 11th Doctor's screwdriver...
