Gimme Gimme Gimme
I finally got around to making Frida's 1979 white costume!! :D
I've got a few accessories to make to go along with Agnetha and Frida's costumes, as well as B&B's costumes. :)
These boots were extremely fun to make. I put interfacing in them, just like I did with Agnetha's, and added some stretchy white (because it doesn't fray) to the tops. :) |
I also made those pants that Frida would wear while performing "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" |

I have a costume request:
ReplyDeleteblue satin suits
Those costumes have been on my list to make for a while now. I hope to try and get some blue satin soon! :D
Deletethanks so much
ReplyDeleteI like to sew and I have also made 4 ABBA felt dolls and I am also starting a blog maybe pretty soon or over summer and yes you can follow me cause I followed you on Instagram and you'll se my dolls on my blog too!
ReplyDeleteAw, they must be sooo cute! I'll definitely have to follow your blog when it's up! Let me know when you make it, okay? :D
Deletekay kay and yes they are cute I was inspired from you
ReplyDeleteWow, I've never felt so honored! I'm so happy that I was able to inspire you! ^^
Deletemy grandma taught me how to sew
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet! :D
DeleteI also made their manager too but I made him up cause my mom said we weren't buying grey yarn and the store that I shopped at didn't have any so I called him Rory Wilson
ReplyDeleteAw. Rory Wilson, that's a sweet name! :D I believe Stig's hair was originally blonde, so if you felt like making him again, you could do it with blonde yarn. :)
DeleteI have yellow yarn is that close enough
ReplyDeleteThat should work fine! I used yellow yarn for my Agnetha and Bjorn dolls and they look great! ^^
Deletethat's exactly what I did too my grandma said my faces look so similar and if I miss ABBA at night I sleep with them
ReplyDeleteI would carry my ABBA dolls everywhere with me all the time! I couldn't leave the house without them until one time I nearly lost one of them... Now I just keep them in my room but in a place where I can always see them! :D
Deletewho almost got lost
ReplyDeleteI think it was Bjorn, and another time I almost lost my duck, Fluffy Bjorny! :S
Deleteyou mean blue satin like the 1979 white costumes above right?
ReplyDeleteI used ribbon for that, actually. I'll have to get a couple of yards of blue satin. :)
Deleteoh do you still have some of that
ReplyDeleteA little bit. :)
Deletehave you made the 1976 jumpsuits from Musikladen and the dancing queen promo video?
ReplyDeleteThe Velvet Jumpsuits! :D I got some fake velvet to make them with, but I'm still trying to come up with a pattern. :) They've been on my list to make for a while now!
Deletehow do you put hair or yarn to the dolls and is kitty based on kitty catouer
ReplyDeletefrom Jessie
First I sew the a group of yarn together with the sewing machine, the stitches being the part of the hair, and then I sew the hair onto the head by hand. :) I hope I explained that right, lol. Sometime I'll have to do a tutorial. ^^ Kitty is just a penname that my friend came up with after watching the Superman Returns movie. (One of the characters is name Kitty.)
