Doll Hair Care

A common problem that happens to a lot of dolls is that their hair gets frizzy/tangled/messy. Unfortunately, most of our Disney Animators Collection dolls' hair have turned extremely frizzy. Kitty and I weren't entirely sure why or how this was happening. We did research, washed out their hair with conditioner, brushed their hair, but nothing worked. A while later, I came across this video and immediately got to work.
We first tested it out on Rapunzel's hair because it had gotten pretty frizzy. It worked pretty well, so we did Elsa next. As you can tell by the pictures, the bottom of her hair was quite messy!

Following the video tutorial, I soaked Elsa's hair in fabric softener for several hours.

Elsa's hair ended up being so much better than it was before. Her hair still feels a little bit frizzy at the ends, but it's a lot softer and easier to brush! :D
