In 2007 I think it was, Hasbro had released a bunch of Star Wars action figures for Star Wars' 30th anniversary in the style of the original Kenner action figures from the 70s and 80s. As a kid I had my heart set on getting anything Princess Leia related as she was my favorite character. Of the 6 special edition action figures released that year, I think it's quite obvious which one I wanted. So for my birthday that year, my dad and grandmother got me that specific Princess Leia action figure. I loved her so much, but 2 years later she got lost forever and to be honest, it wasn't even my fault that she got lost so... :/ Anyways, lately I'd been feeling this longing for that action figure because it was a gift from my grandma. As it's been over 10 years now since the specific action figure was first released and it was part of a special edition release, the Princess Leia in Combat Poncho action figure is both hard to find and super expensive on ebay. Some of them go up to $40 and above which to me sounds a bit much for something that was originally sold for $8 or $10. Luckily, I was able to find one and got it at ~$16 which isn't bad. And I am now so happy to finally have my Princess Leia action figure here with me again. :)

As this action figure has been sitting in this packaging for a long time, the plastic packaging was really hard to open, like the glue that holds it together got soooo hard I had to practically destroy the packaging to open it. I remember it being a lot easier to open in 2007. |

The back of the box shows the other action figures in this release. |
|
It also has a picture of the original Kenner action figure from 1983-84. |

And here she is completely out of the box. She's about 3 inches tall, but has a bit of detail. As a kid I always thought her face looked nothing like Princess Leia, but now I see that she resembles her a little bit more. |

I always liked how all her accessories were removable. When i first got her in 2007, I think I had lost her blaster upon first opening her because it's super loose and doesn't stay in place on her belt very well, but I intend on keeping it safe now. |

I really like how she's poseable and has a lot of movability. Her arms bend at the elbows, her knees bend, and so do her ankles, which is pretty cool. |
I am so happy to finally have this Princess Leia action figure in my collection yet again. :)
