Smiley Worm Doll

Have you ever heard the story of Baby Blue Cat and The Smiley Worm Doll?

Baby Blue Cat and the Smiley Worm Doll by Ainslie Pryor was one of my favorite books to read when I was little. I read the book all the time, and every time I read it I always wished to have a Smiley Worm Doll for myself. And now that I'm pretty good at sewing, I decided to fulfill that childhood wish. :'D

And here he is, my very own smiley worm doll.  I made him out of one of my dad's old socks, but it's alright since the smiley worm doll is supposed to look worn and loved.

His face and hair are made of black embroidery floss and I used a pink fabric marker for his cheeks.

He even has a cute little nose sticking out.

I made sure to tie off the bottom just like it looks in the book. :'D
